What to Expect

If and when a property assessment reduction is granted, you can expect to see the changes on your next tax bill. Nassau County is one of the only counties that works a year ahead. They will only give refunds if the reduction was granted at the SCAR level and the case goes into the next tax year which doesn't happen very often. If your case gets denied, you can always try again for next year and reminder that you pay nothing unless we are successful in a reduction!
